Students from the College of Humanities and Law Obtain Good Results in Asian International Model United Nations (AIMUN)
The 2018 AIMUN was held in Zhongguanyuan Global Village PKU from March 29 to April 1. The conference invited more than 600 representatives from universities in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and overseas. NEFU sent four representatives to participate in the conference. Among them, three representatives won awards, which made NEFU become the most awarded among the participating universities in Heilongjiang Province. Jia Qing and Li Yuchen, students from the College of Humanities and Law, won the honorary nomination award. Xiao Yulin won the best journalist award. The excellent performance of NEFU students has been highly recognized by the delegates and the organizer.
AIMUN is a unique international conference for university students. It aims to restore a pluralistic world and explore common dreams from the perspective of Asia. As the only international model United Nations conference in China, many domestic representatives from the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan and overseas representatives from the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Africa, Singapore, Pakistan, and Indonesia participate every year. Together, the conference will be shaped as a multi-cultural, multi-concept, multi-exchange, and multi-grained regional event. It is expected that more NEFU students can be involved, and more Chinese youth will participate in global governance in the future.
