Sun Meng, Secretary of the Party Committee of Northeast Forestry University, is a male of Han ethnicity, born in January 1972. He is a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a postgraduate certificate, a doctoral degree, and the title of Research Fellow. He has previously served as Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch and Vice Dean of the College of Wildlife Resources at Northeast Forestry University; Deputy Director of the Party Committee Office and Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Party Committee; Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Party Committee; Executive Vice President of the Party School and Deputy Minister of the Organization Department of the Party Committee; Minister of the Organization Department of the Party Committee; and a Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President (During this period, he concurrently served as a Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President at Xinjiang University of Finance and Economics).

In December 2024, he was appointed Secretary of the Party Committee of Northeast Forestry University.
