College Overview

The College of Economics and Management is the oldest and largest college at Northeast Forestry University, serving as the birthplace of forestry economics and management in China. In 1955, Professor Malishev, a Soviet expert in forestry economics, initiated the first graduate program in China, establishing the discipline. The forestry economics major was established in 1959, followed by the formal creation of the College of Economics and Management in 1987.
