Song Jihong, female, Han ethnicity, was born in October 1973. She is a member of the Communist Party of China, holds a postgraduate degree and a PhD, and is a professor. She currently serves as Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee at Northeast Forestry University.
She previously served as Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice Dean of the School of Soil and Water Conservation at Beijing Forestry University; Secretary of the CPC Committee at the same school; Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Director of its Office; and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission at Northeast Forestry University.
In October 2022, she was appointed Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Northeast Forestry University (during which time, in July 2025, she was seconded to Tibet University as a member of its CPC Committee Standing Committee and as Vice President).
