In order to further improve the innovative talents training mode and its quality, and promote the deep cooperation between colleges and enterprises and the sustainable development of human resource exportation, the College of Information and Computer Engineering’s “2016 College-enterprise Cooperation Talent Training Forum and Practice Base Award Ceremony” was held at 9:00 on December24 inconference room 1016 of the Chengdong Building. Vice president Li Bin, relevant college heads, the professional directors of each college, and 23 representatives of enterprises from all over the country participated in the event.

Vice president Li Bin extended a warm welcome to the representatives of cooperating enterprises and congratulated the success of the event. He said that Northeast Forestry University has always attached great importance to undergraduate practice teaching, and had constantly worked to cultivate students’ practical abilities. Furthermore, the number of enterprises gathered to establish practical teaching bases together shows the further cooperation between the university and enterprises in the aspects of “industry, academia, and research”. He said that both sides should give special attention to their advantages, strengthen cooperation and achieve new breakthroughs in education and teaching, talent cultivation and other aspects for their mutual benefit and to build a good platform for the cultivation of innovative, application-oriented, skilled professionals.

The Dean of the College of Information and Computer Engineering, Chen Guangsheng, on behalf of the College, expressed heartfelt thanks to the cooperative enterprises for their long-term support and concern, and introduced the college profile and the “3 +1 talent training model”. He said that, in order to run a good program, good hardware facilities were not enough. The quality of professionals produces should be fundamentally improved, and the construction of program should be deepened, combining both theoretical knowledge and practical teaching. This is not only determined by the objectives of talent cultivation of colleges and universities, but also by the IT industry’s aim of practical ability. He hoped that through this college-enterprise cooperation, we could explore a suitable college development mode concerning the needs of industry, social development, and characteristic talent cultivation, so as to achieve the tripartite win for the college, enterprise and the students.

In the plaque award ceremony, the College of Information and Computer Engineering awarded the “Northeast Forestry University Practice Teaching Base” plaques to Neusoft Group Co., Ltd., Chinasoft International Co., Ltd., Yonyou Network Co., Ltd. and other 22 companies respectively.

The Vice president of Neusoft Group Co., Ltd. Li Yingao, general manager of Chinasoft International Co., Ltd. (Northeast District) Zhao Dan and deputy general manager of Yonyou Network Co., Ltd. made wonderful keynote speeches.

The successful opening of the college-enterprise talent cultivation forum and the plaque awarding ceremony for college-enterprise practice base means that the College of Information and Computer Engineering will continue to cooperate with many more enterprises in the future to further improve the “knowledge, ability and quality” themed modern talent cultivation mode, and accelerate the pace of implementation of the College’s “3 +1 Talent Cultivation Concept” so as to take a solid step forward in the program, to improve the quality of education and teaching and to achieve transformation in education and development.
