The first national higher agricultural college pioneer forum of party members among college students was held at China Agricultural University on December 3-4. Under the guidance of the Liu Ziying from the College of Material Science and Engineering, the thesisResearch on the innovation model of “Internet + grass-roots party construction in colleges and universities”written by Quan Kaihui won the second class prize, andCarry out the education about “Two Studies and One Action” and improve college students' party construction vitality at the grass-roots levelwritten by Chai Chengnan won the third class prize. Quan Kaihui gave the keynote speech at the rally.
With the theme “pioneering of party members leads growth,” the forum aimed to study and implement the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the third, fourth, fifth and sixth plenary session of The 18th session of the central committee of the communist party of China, and the spirit of series of important speeches by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and to further promote the education about “Two Studies and One Action” to improve the quality of the work of party building and ideological and political education of higher agricultural colleges students. There were 37 party member representatives from 28 agricultural universities.
Quan Kaihui, one of the student party member representatives of the 8 agricultural universities recommended by the conference, gave the keynote speech entitledResearch on the innovation model of “Internet + grass-roots party construction in colleges and universities”. The speech showed how students from NEFU did the work of party construction by means of new media platforms to achieve new results, winning unanimous praise from the teachers and students present.
The representatives visited the Memorial Museum of the Chinese people’s Anti-Japanese War and listened to a special lecture entitled “The Communist Party of China in the diaries of Chiang kai-shek” by Professor Zhang Taiyuan from the department of history of the Communist Party of China. They also had a formal discussion with members of the Youth Marxists Association of China Agricultural University, learning the spirit of the sixth plenary session of The 18th session of the central committee of the Communist Party of China, discussing the ways of carrying out the social practice by Party members among college students, and the construction model of theory community, and discussing and signing the declaration of “pioneer forum”.
This forum further expands the horizon of the Party construction of college students in our school, provides new ideas, new ways and new methods for how to give full play to the cutting edge exemplary role of the student party members, how to stimulate the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the student party branch, and how to promote student party members to carry out social services and other key difficult problems in the work of students’ party construction, which builds consensus and strength for the development direction of students’ party construction.
