The great annual contest namedEnactus Northeast District Social Welfare Competitionwas held on April 14 in Dalian. There were 27 Enactus teams altogether from three northeastern provinces who participated in the contest. Nearly 1,000 college students with 37 entrepreneurs participated in the college student innovation project. Our NEFU team won the first prize of the Northeast Regional Competition, successfully advancing to the national competition.

Under the leadership of Gao Lulu, the adviser, 12 major members of the team displayed a project calledFulfilled Old Agein the contest. Making full use of their creative thinking and conforming to the social trend ofHome Care, the team used social resources both online and offline to enrich the lives of the elderly and solve their development problems. In addition, the team proposed a new solution to the elders’ problems in the aging society and made a successful operation in the pilot community, which received unanimous praise from the judges.

Wining the first prize in the competition of the Northeast District, the NEFU team, along with other 11 teams, gained the qualification to the national competition. This year, along with other 87 teams in the Beijing National Convention Center, the team will receive even more challenges from the world’s top 500 enterprises.

The NEFU Enactus team sticks to the principle ofCreation Promotes Development, Action Changes the Future, and adhered to the creativity and execution to solve social problems. We are looking forward to seeing them present themselves in future competitions.
