On May 26th, Conference of Faculty Leaders was held in the International Conference Hall of the Wildlife Resources Building of NEFU. On behalf of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Education, Liu Dawei, director of the Personnel Department and member of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Education, announced the new leadership of NEFU.
According to the Notification of the Appointment and Dismissal of Zhang Zhikun and Other Leaders Decided by the CPC Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Education and the Notification of the Appointment and Dismissal of Li Bin and Other Leaders Decided by the Ministry of Education, Zhang Zhikun was appointed as secretary and member of the CPC Party Committee and member of the CPC Standing Committee of NEFU; Li Bin as deputy secretary of the CPC Party Committee of NEFU and president of NEFU; Lin Haibo as secretary of the CPC Discipline Inspection Committee of NEFU; Zhou Hongli as member of the CPC Standing Committee and vice president of NEFU, while Wu Guochun was dismissed as secretary of the CPC Party Committee and member of the CPC Standing Committee of NEFU; Yang Chuanping as member of the CPC Standing Committee and president of NEFU; Chen Wenhui as secretary of the CPC Discipline Inspection Committee of NEFU.
Zhang Zhikun, Secretary of the CPC Party Committee of NEFU
Zhang Zhikun, born in December 1963, is a male ethnic Han and a CPC Party member. He graduated from Renmin University of China with a major in the History of the Communist Party of China. He used to work in Renmin University of China, the Supervisory Bureau and the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Department of the Ministry of Education. In September 2011, he was appointed as deputy secretary of the CPC Party Committee and secretary of the CPC Discipline Inspection Committee of China Pharmaceutical University. In May 2015, he was appointed to the post of deputy secretary of the CPC Party Committee and secretary of the CPC Discipline Inspection Committee of China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing.
Li Bin, President of NEFU
Li Bin, born in October 1962, is a male ethic and a CPC Party member. He graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with the degree of Doctor of Applied Chemistry and now is a professor and doctoral supervisor of NEFU. He has been engaged in the teaching and research of forestry chemistry over years. He used to work as a teacher, deputy dean of Normal College and dean of College of Science of NEFU. In October 2011, he was appointed as member of the CPC Standing Committee and vice president of NEFU.
