On the afternoon of October 12th, a special session was held in the Conference Room on the 11thfloor of the Administrative Building of NEFU to announce the appointment of Comrade Wang Yuqi by the CPC Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Education. Li Bin, president and deputy secretary of the CPC Party Committee of NEFU, presided over the session.
President Li Bin declared the Notification of the Appointment of Comrade Wang Yuqi by the CPC Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Education. According to the Notification, Comrade Wang Yuqi was appointed as member of the CPC Party Committee of NEFU, member of the Standing Committee and deputy secretary of the CPC Party committee of NEFU.
Deputy secretary Wang Yuqi extended his gratitude to the CPC Leading Party group of the Ministry of Education and the Provincial Party Committee of Heilongjiang for their trust as well as the Party and administrative leaders, teachers and students of NEFU for their support. He expressed that he would firmly follow the decision and arrangements made by the CPC Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Education, making every endeavor to improve his capacity to become a competent educator with correct political consciousness and proficient specialization under the guidance of the leaders of the CPC Party Committee of NEFU, actively participating in the administrative affairs of NEFU to become a qualified member of NEFU who loves our university, teachers and students, maintaining strict discipline to fulfill responsibility and conscientiously implement all the requirements on strictly directing Party affairs and accelerating the role change to undertake the work accountability.
Zhang Zhikun, secretary of the CPC Party Committee of NEFU, gave a brief introduction to the previous study and work experience of Comrade Wang Zhiqi. Secretary Zhang stressed that the appointment of Comrade Zhiqi to work in NEFU demonstrates the concern and support of the CPC Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Education, which is also a critical initiative for the construction of the leading group of NEFU. NEFU faculty and staff should fully recognize the positive significance of the initiative and make our ideological understanding uniform to this strategic arrangement. Secretary Zhang pointed out that Comrade Wang Yuqi is competent with abundant managerial experience in the field of higher education, outstanding political quality, high theoretical level and broad vision, who is also capable of handling administrative affairs and conducting effective collaboration, bringing new vigor and vitality to the reform and development of NEFU. Secretary Zhang required that the entire faculty and staff should support and cooperate with Comrade Wang Yuqi so as to elevate the development of NEFU to a new stage with mutual support and joint efforts. Finally, Secretary Zhang emphasized that all the departments of NEFU should conscientiously enforce the relevant documents of the Ministry of Education and the provincial government of Heilongjiang in order to maintain security and stability to welcome the successful convening of the 19thCPC National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Li Bin, president of NEFU, pointed out that the appointment of Comrade Wang Yuqi to work in NEFU will strengthen the leadership of the leading group of NEFU. In the future, the leading group of NEFU will, under the firm leadership of the CPC Leading Party Group of the Ministry of Education and the CPC Party Committee of NEFU, unite and lead the entire faculty, staff and students of NEFU to seize the opportunity of the “Double First-class Initiative” and implement the in-depth reform of education and teaching in an effort to make more contribution to the fulfillment of the leaping development of NEFU.

Wang Yuqi, male, the Han nationality, born in April, 1964, starting to work in August, 1986, senior engineer with Master Degree of Engineering, previously serving as counselor of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering, secretary of the Youth League Committee, member of the Organization Department of the CPC Party Committee, deputy director of the Industry Management Division, deputy director of the Auditing Division (directing administrative affairs), director of the Personnel Department, director of the Organization Department of the CPC Party Committee of Northeastern University, was appointed as member of the standing committee and deputy secretary of the CPC Party Committee of NEFU in August, 2017.
