On the morning of June 25, John Sunnygard, the Director of the International Cooperation Department, University of Colorado at Denver, and Clay Harmon, the Admissions Officer for the China Region visited our university. The directors of the relevant departments met the visitors in the Conference Room 7 of the Administrative Building.
The two sides discussed the problems existing in the cooperation projects and the direction of further development. Mr. John Sunnygard said that he would carry out in-depth exchanges and cooperation with NEFU with a short-term language project, online course selection, teacher exchanges, and scientific research cooperation in addition to the student "3+1+1" project. On the basis of the successful cooperation with the 5 colleges, the cooperation with the College of Forestry and the possibility of a "2+2" joint training project would be further discussed.
Mr. John Sunnygard expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of NEFU and expressed his recognition of the performance of NEFU students in the United States. He said that he was pleased to further develop new projects. In the end, both sides stated that they would actively promote cooperation in relevant fields and strive to push the cooperation to a new level.
