The Chinese Graduate Practical Innovation Series Competition is the only national event specifically designed for current graduate students. Operating under a model guided by national strategic needs and supported by government departments and industry enterprises, the competition aims to enhance graduate students’ innovative and practical abilities. It supports the training of high-level talents in urgently needed and key areas. This competition not only serves as an important platform to foster an innovative spirit and enhance the capabilities of graduate students, but it also acts as an effective tool for educational institutions to create an innovative environment for graduate students, promote reforms in graduate innovation and entrepreneurship education, and improve the quality of graduate training.
The contributions of graduate training institutions are measured using four indicators: scale of contribution, quality of contribution, organizational contribution, and construction contribution. These indicators quantitatively assess the contributions of institutions from various perspectives. Based on these scores, NEFU was listed in the 2023 rankings for contributions by graduate training institutions in the Chinese Graduate Practical Innovation Series Competition.
