The French Design Awards, established in 2015 by the International Design Awards Association (IAA), are among the most influential international awards in the creative industry. The awards recognize exceptional innovation and achievements in architectural, interior, product, and packaging design. Known for their rigorous and impartial evaluation standards, the judging panel comprised top global design experts, scholars, and industry leaders. Awarded works are selected based on criteria such as the uniqueness of the design concept, functionality, aesthetic value, and consideration for sustainability.
"LaceShadow" reduces the areas of a traditional classical guitar that are less sensitive to vibration, ensuring the compelling resonance of the soundbox. During performances, the hollow design creates an interplay of light and shadow, adding a dynamic and fashionable touch.
NEFU established the Faculty of Home and Art Design in 2023. Since then, the faculty has made significant progress by leveraging academic strengths, maintaining a sharp focus on international trends, and continuously improving the professional standards of both faculty and students. Professor Yang Hongze's recent win of the Silver Prize at the 2024 French Design Awards has further motivated the faculty and students, aligning them with national strategies, contributing to social services, and meeting industry demands by delivering more outstanding design works.
