Since its establishment, NEFU has experienced ups and downs during her seventy years. Generations of NEFUers have gone through hardships and together they have created the glories of NEFU today. “A four-year study in NEFU, a lifelong love for NEFU”, in order to welcome the 70th anniversary of our university in 2022, our university has decided to carry out an essay writing activity with the theme of “NEFU and Me” to recall the 70-year history of our university, to find and present the most beautiful memories of NEFUers, and to tell the story of NEFU with NEFU feelings. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
I. Subjects of the essay
Students, faculty and staff, retired faculty and staff, alumni, and friends from all walks of life who care and support the construction and development of NEFU.
II. Theme of the essay
Faculty and staff can write essays with the themes of “NEFU allows me to realize my self-worth” , “I witness the development of NEFU” and “I make contributions to NEFU”; retired faculty and staff as well as alumni can recall their teacher-student friendship with the themes of “precious memories of NEFU” and “the story of NEFU and me”; students can write about their learning and growing experience with the theme of “NEFU nurtures me”.
III. Content of the essay
1. Record the history of the establishment and running, show the development achievements and reflect the fruitful results of the construction of NEFU.
2.Capture the precious memories of the campus life, and express the sincere affection to the alma mater, teachers, classmates and alumni.
3.Memorize the unforgettable past that inherited the NEFU style, NEFU motto and NEFU spirit, and carry forward fine traditions of NEFU.
4.Describe the accumulation of growth given by NEFU and the personal experience and feeling that you have experienced due to the cultivation of the alma mater.
5.Send message and Give blessing to NEFU, looking forward to a better future, and bring up opinions and suggestions for the future development and construction of NEFU.

V. Content requirements
1. The topic should be self-made, genre and length are not limited; the content should be authentic, sincere, positive and healthy, and the word count should in principle be less than 3000 words.
2. Manuscripts should be original works, have not been published in the press, the Internet and other media, and is responsible for its own. If there are any pictures, please attach them together, and indicate the shooting content, shooting time, and the name of the photographer. Pictures in high-definition electronic version are preferred.
3. Manuscript format: the title should be in bold type 2, and the body should be in imitation Song-Dynasty-Style type 3, with single line spacing. The text should be attached with a personal profile of about 100 words (including real name, time of registration, college and class, current or pre-retirement employer, position, contact number, etc.) of the author.
4. Manuscripts will not be returned, so please keep your own copy. The university has the right to use the selected essays for publicity, collection, publication and display.
VI. Related work requirements
1. This activity will be organized by the Publicity Department of the Party Committee. The Teacher Work Department of the Party Committee will be in charge of collecting essays from faculty members (including retired faculty), Alumni Office collecting the essays from alumni, and Youth League Committee collecting the essays from students.
2. Each secondary party organizations should organize the collection of at least seven essays from faculty and staff, and the essays should focus on NEFU stories of different eras, such as historical phases before the 1980s, 1980s-1990s, 1990s-2000s, and 2000 to the present.
VII. Mode of reporting
The electronic version of the manuscript is only required, and the subject line of the email should be marked with “essay + personnel category (select one category from faculty and staff, retired faculty and staff, alumni, and all walks of life) + age + name”.

VIII. Method of awarding the prize and publication
1. The university will organize a panel of judges to evaluate the essays and give awards to the winners.
2. The list of winners will be announced on the campus website at a later stage.
3. We will select the best works for publication, or publish the essays on the official microblog or campus website, and display them in the exhibition of the results of the university celebration.
