About the Speaker
Li Houhua, male, born in 1973, Professor, Ph.D., Ph.D. Supervisor, graduated from Universität Hannover in 2008. Prof. Li Houhua, a CPC Party member, started working at Northwest Agriculture & Forestry University in 2009. He is Deputy Director of the Engineering Technology Center for Oil Peony, State Forestry Administration, member of the Youth Academic Committee, Chinese Society of Forestry, distinguished researcher of Qinling National Botanical Garden and expert of the “Advisory Panel” of China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair. His research orientation is Landscape Plant Germplasm Resources, Genetic Engineering Breeding and Secondary Metabolism of Flavonoids. Prof. Li Houhua has undertaken 7 programs at provincial and ministerial or higher levels including the programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, published 4 books and more than 50 papers, 10 of which have been indexed in SCI.
