About the Reporter
Wang Guohua, male, born in 1978, Han nationality, is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Computer Science and Technology at Harbin Institute of Technology. In 1999, 2003 and 2009, he respectively received his bachelor, master and doctoral degree at Harbin Institute of Technology. From 2006 to 2008, he was a visiting scholar at Indiana University—Purdue University Indianapolis. He did postdoctoral research at the Johns Hopkins University from 2014 to 2016. In 2013, he was elected to be in the list of the New Century Talent Support Program of the Ministry of education, and presided over a number of projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Fund, National 863 Project etc. In Nat Rev Genet, Nat Protoc, Nucleic Acids Res, Bioinformatics and other important bioinformatics journals at home and abroad, he published a number of SCI indexed papers. His research mainly focuses on bioinformatics, machine learning, artificial intelligence etc.
