About the Reporter
Shu Zhan is a PH.D. and a lecturer. He has been listed into the Procurement Expert Database of Heilongjiang province, and works as the secretary of the Forest Firefighting Standardization Committee of Heilongjiang province. His research mainly focuses on forest fire ecology, environmental ecology and forest fire prevention equipment development. He has taught for 11 years, and given lectures to English for Special Purpose, Emergency Escape during Forest Fires, Environmental Planning, and Physical Pollution Control Engineering. He has hosted and completed one provincial and ministerial level scientific research project and two projects sponsored by the Central University Research Fund. He also participated in the research of many projects, including one sponsored by the National Natural Science Fund, two supported by the “11thFive-Year” and “12thFive-Year” Scientific Technology Fund, one State Forestry Welfare Industry Research project, two “948” projects of the State Forestry Administration, one Key Scientific and Technological Study project of Heilongjiang province, and one project sponsored by the Natural Science Fund of Heilongjiang Province. Within five years, he has published eight papers, one monograph, seven textbooks, and applied for seven patents. He won the second prize for outstanding teaching for three times, and the title of Outstanding Teacher in NEFU. From March, 2015 to March, 2016, he had been a visiting scholar sponsored by the Chinese Government in the Riverside Forest Fires Laboratory of the US Forest Service.

About the Reporter
Yang Ling, female, born in August, 1977, is a doctor of agriculture, associate professor, master supervisor, and has finished her postdoctoral research in the Biology Postdoctoral Mobile Station. She is the member of the Chinese Forestry Society, Youth Committee of the Chinese Forestry Society, and the Chinese Plant Physiology Society. Her research focuses on the principles and techniques of directional cultivation of tree seedlings. She has made outstanding achievements in the research of some ornamental tree species, such as rowan and purple birch, and in vitro propagation of Fraxinus mandshurica Rupr. She hosted 9 projects, including the projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Fund, and the Natural Science Fund of Heilongjiang Province etc. She has published over 50 scientific research papers, including 10 SCI indexed papers, obtained 10 patents, released 4 academic monographs, and won over 10 teaching and scientific research awards of different levels. From February 2015 to February 2016, she had been a visiting scholar sponsored by the Chinese Government in Moscow State University of Russia.
