On April 13, the ceremony of the2nd “Scholarly Heilongjiang” Heilongjiang Provincial Publication Award was held in the studio hall of HeilongjiangBroadcast Television Station. Journal of Forestry Research (English Edition), sponsored byNEFU, won the2nd Heilongjiang Provincial Publication Award - Excellent Publication Award (Journal category).

Heilongjiang Provincial Publication Award is the highest award intheHeilongjiang press and publishing industry. The award aims to recognize advanced individuals, inspire publishers, promote Heilongjiang press andthepublishing industry to fully implement the brand and talent strategies, accelerate the formation of a famous echelon, enhance core competitiveness, and make greater contributions to the construction of a new modern socialist Heilongjiang. This year’s provincial publication awards have selectedExcellent Book Awards (10), Excellent Journal Awards (5), Excellent Audiovisual, Electronic, and Online Publication Awards (4), Excellent Binding Design Awards (5), Excellent Printing and Copying Product Awards (5), Best-selling Publication Awards (5), Advanced Publishing Unit Awards (5),andOutstanding Publisher Awards(10).

TheJournal of Forestry Research (EnglishEdition) was founded in 1990, and is now a bimonthly journal, edited by Prof. Li Bin, President ofNEFU. Since the first issue in 2013, it has been included in the SCI database. With the support and guidance fromNEFU authorities, the JCR impact factorof the journalis now 1.689, ranking in the Q2 division. In 2019,the journal was selected for the project of “China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Program”, and is now a high-quality journal ofkeynational construction.
