On 1st November, Secretary of the NEFU CPC Committee Wu Guochun, President Yang Chuanping, other NEFU leaders and heads of related departments visited the new apartment building for international students.

They visited the apartments, laundry, kitchen, gym, multipurpose Assembly Hall, offices and other major facilities for international students. They were delighted to see the tremendous changes in the apartments and improvement in living facilities for international students. They talked with international students, inquired about students’ study and living, and encouraged them to study hard and make achievements for the future.

NEFU leaders gave full affirmation on education, management and life service provided by the School of International Education and Exchanges. They hope that the school can further strengthen intentional development, and completely exert NEFU’s disciplinary advantages, so as to attract more excellent international students, expand NEFU’s international reputation and influence, and advance the internationalized construction of NEFU’ education.

Recently, under the direction of NEFU leaders, the conditions of apartments for international students have been greatly improved. The formerly shabby hall, kitchens and baths have been renovated and fundamentally changed. A warm and comfortable living and study environment will be provided for the international students.

Under the new situation, the School of International Education and Exchanges will earnestly implement the spirit of the National Conference on Management of Overseas Students in China, positively cater for “the Belt and Road Initiative” strategy, further improve teaching quality, and steadily expand the scale of international students to strive for the comprehensive development for the education of NEFU’s international students.
