On June 1st, the “Sino-German Forum---Shaping Innovation Together” was held in Berlin. Over 500 people who came from various enterprise, technology and science spheres from China and Germany attended this forum. The prime ministers of the two countries were present and made keynote speeches.
Founded by NEFU professor Qiu Zhaowen, Heilongjiang Tuo Meng Technology Co., ltd., which earned third place in the Internet and Mobile Internet Industry for the fifth China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and was the only prize-winning company in Heilongjiang Province, attended this forum at the invitation of the Torch Center for Ministry of Science and Technology.
Qiu Zhaowen, the Chairman of the Board, presented a speech in the sub-forum of “Intelligent Manufacturing and Smart Services.” He introduced the situation of 3D printing alliances in Heilongjiang and the appliance of 3D printing technology in the fields ofaviation, space, navigation and medical treatment and communicated well with other participating experts. The Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (C.P.P.C.C.) and Minister of Science and Technology, Wan Gangqin, communicated with directors of winning-prize companies and had pictures taken to mark the occasion.
Heilongjiang Tuo Meng Technology Co., ltd. was established in 2015. Through advanced technology, the company transforms traditional medical image processing systems into stereoscopic systems. It uses 3D printing to print out a three-dimensional model of lesions. The method will let doctors and patients know the details of the focal area before the operation, and therefore allowing doctors to make reasonable plans for the operation. For example, through preoperative surgical planning, an operation that required opening chest cavity could be changed into a minimally invasive surgery which only needs three small incisions. It is known that hundreds of surgeries have already used the technology from Tuo Meng at present, and they were all successful.
This forum has allowed Heilongjiang Tuomeng Technology Co., ltd. to achieve their goals of cooperation with bothdomestic and foreign enterprises. They will develop medical image products and medical surgical simulation and teachingproducts for experiential domain and cooperation in the field of metal 3D printing.
