On June 7th, the research and teaching practice base, graduate practice teaching base and university student employment internship base in the Phoenix Mountain National Forest Park, which were together built by Heilongjiang Grand Canyon National Nature Reserve, Phoenix Mountain National Forest Park and NEFU, officially opened.
At the ceremony,Secretary of the Party Committeeof Heilongjiang Shanhe VillageForestry Bureau Li Yuchun, and Dean of College of Wildlife Resources Zhang Minghai gave speeches at the event. They both hoped that the establishment of the bases would achieve mutual benefits and common development in personnel training, nature conservation, scientific research, and ecological tourism.
Other executives from theHeilongjiang Provincial Party Committee, ProvincialPoliticalConsultative Conference, Heilongjiang Tourism Development Commission, HeilongjiangBureau of Forest Industries,Municipal Party Committee of Wuchang, the City Government of Wuchang and etc. also attended this ceremony.
The Heilongjiang Grand Canyon National Nature Reserve and Heilongjiang Phoenix Mountain National Forest Park are important natural ecological protected areas in China, and are located in northern Mt. Changbai, and the western slope of Mt. Zhangguangcai. These two areas belong to theHeilongjiang Shanhe VillageForestry Bureau. The Grand Canyon is the most typical national nature reserve in Heilongjaing southeastern mountain forest ecosystem and is the richest one in terms of its resources of both wild animals and plants. The natural scenery of Phoenix Mountain national forest park can fully reflect green hills and clear waters and the great beauty of Heilongjiang.
