On May 28thand 29th,the final of Seventh National College Market Research and Analysis Competition was held in Dalian. Teachers and students from NEFU achieved great success again because of full preparations and a wonderful performance. 7 teams guided by Professors Lv Jiehua, Hao Lili, and Jiang Yu from the Economic Statistics Major of the Economics and Management College won 2 national first prizes,1 national second prize and 4 national third prizes. In addition, as the committee of the Heilongjang competition area, our university had the honor to win the Prize for Best Organization which was given by the Committee for the Professional Teaching of Statistics for Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education and China Business Statistics Committee.
This Market Research and Analysis Competition lasted for 7 months. 28,827 students from 322 colleges and universities from 29 provinces,autonomous regions andmunicipalities attended this competition. There were 133 colleges, 213 teams and 937 students who were qualified for the finals. After a series of selections including knowledge contests, school-level qualification trails and provincial level qualification trails, 3 teams from NEFU stood out and qualified for the national finals held in Dalian.

Under the careful guidance of the teachers, students started their half-year preliminary work, such as collecting materials, designing questionnaires, writing reports, etc., and worked to continually improve. Thanks to their best state and works, they demonstrated the talents and efforts of NEFU students to all the judges and accomplished splendid results.
