Recently, NEFU’s Project of National Vehicle Accident Investigation has been checked and accepted, and NEFU becomes the only NAIS workstation in northeast China.
On June 23, experts of the Defective Product Management Center of AQSIQ made an assessment on spot for the experimental running of vehicle accident investigation in NEFU. Experts listened to the introduction about the workstation team and accident analysis. They inspected the experimenting and working conditions of the workstation and started to raise questions and discuss the result. At last, all the experts agreed with this project. Therefore, NEFU becomes the only NAIS workstation of northeast China officially.
Building NAIS workstation is a task of the Defective Product Management Center of AQSIQ, which is undertaken by the College of Traffic in NEFU. Through vehicle accident investigation, vehicle defects can be analyzed and recognized and safety factors can be studied and improved. Also, this project can serve for recalling defective vehicle products and provide data analysis for automobile factories. Depending on talents, majors and equipment advantages, the College of Traffic is able to be in charge of the work assigned by the Defective Product Management Center of AQSIQ through Industry-University-Research. Four full-time teachers from the College of Traffic are engaged in this project.
At present, only 8 units have established the kind of workstation, including Tongji University, Shandong Transportation University, Shanghai Engineering Technology University, Xihua University, Yunnan Yuntong Judicial Expertise Center, Tianjin Fire Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, South China University of Technology and NEFU.
