On the morning of July 25, an assessment meeting of Jiang Liquan team of the State Key Laboratory of Tree Genetics and Breeding was held in meeting room 517 of the west main building.

The assessment team was headed by Li Fengri, Dean of the School of Forestry. Team members included Lu Mengzhu, researcher of the Research Institute of Forestry Chinese Academy of Forestry, Zhou Yihua, researcher of the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Guo Changhong of the Graduate School of Harbin Normal University, Professor Zou Hongfei of the Graduate School of Northeast Forestry University, Professor Wang Zhengquan from the School of Forestry of Northeast Forestry University and Professor Sui Guangchao from the College of Life Science of Northeast Forestry University.

Li Bin, the President of NEFU and Deputy Party Secretary attended the meeting. Directors of Department of Personnel, Office of Academic Research, School of Forestry and other relevant departments, young scholars of project 5211, and some staff of State Key Laboratory for Tree Genetic Breeding also participated in the assessment meeting. The meeting was conducted by Wang Yulong, the Director of Department of Personnel.

Professor Jiang Liquan, on behalf of the team, reported their main work and achievements during the last employment period from 2014 to 2016, and then he explained the directions and targets of next period. He made the speech from several aspects of commitment to scientific research projects published academic papers, personnel training, discipline and research platform construction and self-evaluation. During the report, the assessment team asked questions and made recommendations.

The members of the assessment team discussed the report and made bearer assessments.

Director Wang Yulong of Department of Personnel then announced that Jiang Liquan team was unanimously approved.

President Li Bin made a concluding speech. He said that Jiang Liquan team made outstanding contributions to the basic research, scientific research support, team building and other aspects in only three years, which laid a good foundation for scientific research of NEFU to a new level. He thanked Jiang Liquan team for their hard work, and put forward earnest hope for the development of disciplines and widening international frontier research field and deepening the construction of qualified personnel.
