Recently, after the selection of 2017 national forestry teacher, Professor Chi Defu and Professor Mu Liqiang of School of Forestry won the title ofNational Forestry Teacher, according to theNotice on the First Batch of National Forestry Teacher Selection Resultsissued by the State Forestry Administration.

In order to strengthen the construction of teaching staff in the forestry industry, deepen the reform of forestry education and teaching, steadily improve the quality of forestry personnel training, and promote forestry modernization and ecological civilization construction, the State Forestry Administration launched the first session of national forestry teacher selection. After the first round, expert review, social publicity and other procedures, 30 teachers from national forestry colleges, universities and other institutions were selected in the first batch ofNational Forestry Teacher.
