Recently, the 10th“Higher Education Press Cup” National College Students Advanced Drawing Technology & Product Information Modeling Innovation Competition was held in Lanzhou Jiaotong University. The team of the College of Civil Engineering of NEFU won the first prize (the first place) in the group of road and bridge; seven first prizes and two second prizes in individual all-round, one first prize in modeling; one first prize in ruler and compasses, the highest awards ever since NEFU’s participation in 2010.
The “Higher Education Press Cup” National College Students Advanced Drawing Technology & Product Information Modeling Innovation Competition sponsored by the Teaching and Guidance Committee of the Engineering Graphics Course of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, the Professional Committee of Drawing Technology of China Graphics Society and the Professional Committee of Product Information Modeling of China Graphics Society is the top contest in the graphics course at national level, which is also known as the Olympics of Graphics. 283 institutions of higher learning including the Project “985” and Project “211” universities like Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Chongqing University and Northwestern Polytechnical University, with 445 teams, over 1000 instructors and 2916 contestants, the total reaching a record high. The competition is divided into four categories, ranging from mechanical engineering, architecture, road and bridge and hydraulic engineering, the contents of which involve two sections: drawing with ruler and compasses, product information modeling and engineering drawing.
