On September 21st, the website of the Ministry of Education published “A List of the Construction of the World First-class Universities and Disciplines,” issued by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, and the National Development and Reform Commission. It announced the list of the “Double First-class” construction universities and disciplines, and NEFU has become one of them.

According to“theOverallPlanPromotingtheConstruction ofWorldFirst-classUniversities andDisciplines” published by the State Council and “the Implemention Measures ofPromotingtheConstruction ofWorldFirst-classUniversities andDisciplines” published by the Ministry of Education and other two ministries, a total of 42 universities have been selected as first-class construction universities, andrelated subjects in95 universities have been selected as first-class construction disciplines. The forestry engineering and forestry subjects of NEFU have become “double first-class” construction disciplines.
