Recently, 2017 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Heilongjiang Division Finals were held in Heilongjiang Radio and Television Station. The team “Petrochemical, Harmless, All-Use, Hi-Tech and Equipment for Agricultural and Forestry Wastes” led by Professor Wang Shuyang from NEFU won the second prize in China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Heilongjiang Division Finals this year and became the only team in Heilongjiang Province to enter the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition “New Energy and Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Industry Finals.”

This competition is hosted by Heilongjiang Science and Technology Business Incubator Service Innovation Alliance and is divided into enterprise groups and team groups, in which the enterprise groups are divided into two groups: start-up enterprises and grown enterprises. There are 351 enterprises participating in the competition inHeilongjiangProvince, including 161 grown enterprises and 190 start-up enterprises.

Professor Wang has been training students to focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. The team he led actively responded the call made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” and backed by the high-tech innovation. The team demonstrated NEFUers’ unique innovation strength and advanced industrialization technology achievements. For two consecutive years, the team has taken an active part in the innovation and entrepreneurship competitions across the country and inHeilongjiangProvinceand has achieved remarkable results. In 2016, the team won the third prize in Heilongjiang Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
