Forestry Research (English version)has won “China’s Most Influential International Academic Journal” 4 consecutive years (2014-2017). The most influential international academic journals in China are based on the evaluation of 3,500 scientific and technical journals in China by the China Academic Journals (CD-ROM) E-Zine Magazine. According to the journal International Influence Index, the magazine has selected 175 journals (TOP5%) of “China's Most Influential Academic Journals in 2017”.
On its 30th anniversary, the Society of China University Journals held a selection of “Outstanding Teams and Outstanding Individuals” of scientific and technological journals of Chinese universities in 2017. The editorial board ofForestry Research (English Edition)was selected as “2017 Outstanding Team of Chinese University Journals of Science and Technology.” In addition, Director and Deputy Editor Yu Lei was selected “Outstanding Young Editor of Chinese University Journals of 2017” and Deputy Editor Zhu Hong was selected “Outstanding Young Editor of Chinese University Journals of 2017.” The website ofForestry Research (English Edition)also won “Fourth Excellent Website Award of Chinese University Journals of Science and Technology.”
Forestry Research (English version) is a key English academic journal of NEFU. Since it was officially included by SCI in 2013, the Journal has developed rapidly and its international influence has been continuously increasing (the impact factor is 0.774, the subject ranking is 42/64 in Q3). It has now become an international academic journal with a high reputation among forestry scholars. At present, the magazine has constructed a 48-person international editorial team, which includes 28 foreign editorial board members from 16 countries. The editor-in-chief is currently Professor Li Bin. Over the next 5 years, the Northeast Forestry University will promote Forestry Research (English version) to a new level and make it an international excellent academic journal so as to help the construction of “double first-class” academic disciplines and enhance the international influence of China’s forestry.
