On the morning of December 23rd, the third winter camp was held in conference room 331 of theCollegeofWildlife Resources. 91 teachers and students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong University of Education, Hong Kong Baptist University, the University of Macau, the Macao Polytechnic Institute and representatives of the teachers and students from NEFU will, in the coming days, enhance their friendship and promote the communication and development through experiencing the scenery of ice and snow, cultural exchanges, and a series of other activities.
Chen Wenhui, the Deputy Party Secretary of NEFU, Sun Hongzhi, the Director of Hong Kong, Macao andTaiwanoffices of NEFU, and Sun Zhiping, the Deputy Director ofHong Kong,MacaoandTaiwanoffices of NEFU attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Chen Wenhui, on behalf of NEFU, expressed her warm welcome to the teachers and students from universities in Hong Kong andMacao. She said that in 2015 and 2016, NEFU responded to the call ofHong Kong,Macaoand Taiwan Affairs of the Ministry of Education on implementing the “Scheme for the Exchange of Teachers and Students of the Universities and Colleges inHong Kongand the Mainland.” NEFU has conducted two winter camps and achieved very good results, and has played a positive role in promoting the exchanges and cooperation between NEFU and the universities in Hong Kong andMacao. She briefed the students from Hong Kong andMacaoon the general situation of NEFU as well as the geographical location and cultural history ofHarbin. Chen expressed the hope that not just promoting mutual understanding and friendship between Hong Kong andMacaostudents and NEFU students, but also that the teachers and students from Hong Kong andMacaocould truly know NEFU and jointly build a platform for communication together.
Teachers from theChineseUniversityof Hong Kong and from the Shaan Hong College of ChineseUniversityofHong Kongmade speeches separately. They expressed their gratitude to the teachers and students of NEFU for their meticulous preparation and hard work, and both also expressed their hope that they would have a memorable and enjoyable time here. Students fromHong KongBaptistUniversityand from NEFU also made speeches. They expressed their fervent expectation and hope for this winter camp, and will cherish this chance and make progress together.
