From November 22nd to 23rd, the 2nd “Mao Yisheng Public Welfare Bridge---Little Bridge Project” National Design Competition for university students was held. Seven design works by students from the NEFU School of Civil Engineering were selected into the finals, and they won 3 national third prizes, 4 national winning prizes and an excellent organization award. In addition, in the closing ceremony,the work “Colorful Butterfly” by NEFU last year was announced as one of the three selected works to be implemented, and construction will officially commence by the end of this year.

This competition aims to realize the effective integration of university talent training and precise poverty alleviation in transportation,guiding college students to come out of the school gate, go into the community, and combine reality with professional knowledge to actively integrate into the national precision poverty alleviation development strategy, so that more college students can practice in society and contribute to the country. Through this competition, we will further improve the quality of civil engineering majors’ cultivation, demonstrate students’ innovative ability and professional practice ability, strengthen the teamwork awareness of college students, and create a good academic atmosphere among students. Meanwhile,it has promoted the exchange and study between teachers and students of our university and those from other universities across the country.
