On December 18th, the 29th Times Young Creative Award Ceremony of the World Chinese College Students Advertising Creative Competition was held in Xishuangbanna. NEFU’s work named “Bie” won the first prize of China’s Mainland in the Taipin Brand Image Advertising Design Competition (Non-graphic Category), and won the Silver Calf Award in the Global Final Review. At the same time, NEFU won 2 Awards for Outstanding Works and 17 honorable mentions.
Supervised by Gong Liming, a teacher of advertising in the School of Humanities and Law of NEFU, two students named Fu Yixin and Jiao Yuting created the work “Bie”. In recent years, NEFU has won many good results in the Times Young Creative Award Competition. Up to now, 1 Golden Calf Award, 2 Silver Calf Awards, 2 Bronze Calf Awards, and 3 second prizes of China’s Mainland have been won. The First Prize of China’s Mainland is the best result NEFU has ever achieved.
The Times Young Creative Award is the most influential youth creative competition in the global Chinese regions. This competition is guided by China Education International Exchange Association and China Business Advertising Association, and hosted by Want Want China Times Media Group. A total of 1,410 universities from China, the United States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries and regions participate in it, and the number of submitted works reaches more than 70,000. After fierce preliminary review, re-examination and global final review, one gold, silver and bronze award will be selected for each category, and its awarding rate is less than one in a thousand.
