From October 21st to 22nd, the 22nd China Annual Conference for International Education & Expo, sponsored by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), was held in the Beijing International Convention Center. This year’s annual conference focused on the theme of New Opportunities and Prospects for Building an Open and High-quality Education System. Huai Jinpeng, the Minister of Education of the People`s Republic of China, attended the plenary meeting and delivered a speech. The annual meeting invited 300 speakers, including leaders of Chinese and foreign government departments, presidents of top universities from around the world, and well-known experts and scholars in the field of education, to exchange and discuss ideas, which attracted representatives in the field of education from dozens of countries and regions. Liu Zhiming, Dean of Aulin College NEFU, and his group went to Beijing to attend the 22nd China Annual Conference for International Education & Expo (CACIE 2021).

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the CEAIE. CACIE is an annual international education event held annually by the CEAIE since 2000, which integrates academic discussion, policy consultation, information exchange, project negotiation and exhibition. At present, it is the largest comprehensive education cooperation and exchange platform in China, one of the most influential comprehensive international education events in Asia, and an important publicity window in China’s education field.

From October 23rd to 27th, the CACIE 2021 toured Beijing and Guangzhou. Liu Limin, president of the CEAIE and former vice minister of the Ministry of Education, Wang Yongli, secretary general of the CEAIE and their party attended the event. Nearly 300 domestic and foreign universities from more than 20 countries and regions including Britain, Canada, France, Germany and New Zealand participated in the exhibition. The delegation from Aulin College participated in the education exhibition in Beijing and Guangzhou.

On the morning of October 23rd, the exhibition officially opened. President Liu Limin and his party visited the booth of the Aulin College NEFU for guidance, and listened to the report on the college-running characteristics and personnel training. Ms. Miranda Herbert, the Education Counselor of the Embassy of New Zealand in China and the Director of Education New Zealand (ENZ) in China, exchanged inquiries about the progress of Sino-foreign cooperative education in the Aulin College, and fully affirmed the achievements of Aulin College.

 

At the exhibition sites in Beijing and Guangzhou, the exhibition booth of the Aulin College NEFU was very popular, attracting many media such as the China Education Network Television to interview. Dean Liu Zhiming introduced the basic situation of Aulin College to reporters in detail, carefully answered questions and doubts for parents, and gave detailed answers to enrollment policies, application guidelines and other issues.

 

Since its establishment in 2019, the Aulin College has been aiming at absorbing the excellent educational resources and improving the quality of personnel training, solidly promoting various education and teaching reforms, innovating personnel training modes and achieving initial results in personnel training. This year, Aulin College has participated in several online enrollment projects of Sino-foreign cooperative education and offline exhibitions of the CACIE 2021, which attracted the attention of many of the candidates, parents and the media. In the future, the college will continue to adhere to the fundamental task of establishing moral integrity in cultivation, focus on connotative construction, integrate innovation, improve quality and efficiency, and cultivate international innovative talents with international competitiveness, while maintaining devotion to family and country and practical ability.
