Recently the final of the 23rd China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition came to an end in Liangjiang New District, Chongqing. The representative team selected by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the NEFU has won a total of 1 national first prize, 2 national second prizes and 5 national third prizes.
Hosted by the China Artificial Intelligence Society, the competition is carried out both online and offline. More than 1,000 teams including nearly 10,000 people from the Chongqing University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and other universities compete on the same stage. The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the NEFU has selected 9 teams to participate in three sub-project competitions, including all-round confrontation, robot innovation competition, and smart agriculture and forestry. Through the provincial competition, a total of 8 teams reached the final. The participating players lived up to expectations, overcame many difficulties, constantly improved and perfected the entries, and made full preparations. Finally, they achieved excellent results in the competition of more than 300 teams from nearly 200 colleges and universities.
The China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition is a long-standing and influential national discipline competition. It has been held for 23 times so far. It is one of the 57 events in the 2020 National General Colleges and Universities Discipline Competition Ranking released by the Chinese Society of Higher Education. This competition is proposed in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence, combining the research and development and application of key technologies. The competition is committed to promoting students to participate in scientific and technological innovation practices in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence. Now it has become one of the largest, most influential and professional robot competitions in China.
