Recently, the National Finals of the 12th e-commerce “Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship” Challenge for national college students, sponsored by the NIEA has come to an end in Wuhan. Under the requirements of epidemic prevention, teams competed online, and judges gave their scores and reviews both online and off-line ways. Three entries from NEFU won prizes in the competition. The first prize went to A Service Platform for Handicraft Culture and Immersive Tourism, and the second prize went to Walking Together with Intangible Cultural Heritage and to Life Record of University Students. Our school is the only university in Heilongjiang Division that won a national award.
The three entries were specifically guided by Ji Mingyu from the College of Information and Computer Engineering and Zhao Gaojia from the College of Engineering and Technology. Relying on the experience gained in the campus competition and in the provincial competition, the participating teams worked extensively on the entries over the past year, bringing a great improvement in terms of problem-solving plans and of creative designs. In the project display and expert Q&A portions, NEFU students gave extraordinary performance with the spirit of innovation and coordination.
The “Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship” Challenge is one of the 57 competitions in the National College Students Competition Rankings. A total of 133,729 teams from all over the country signed up for the competition, with 320 teams entering the finals. The content of the competition included fields such as e-commerce for agriculture, countryside and farmers, industrial e-commerce, education reform, cross-border trade and social services. Technologies such as short videos, live broadcasts, AI and blockchain were used. The “Innovation, Creativity Entrepreneurship” Challenge can play a positive role in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education, teaching reform, and the combination of Industry-University-Research. It is a national academic competition for college students, which can stimulate their interest and potential, cultivate their creativity, entrepreneurial ability, and teamwork spirit.
