Recently, the “2022 China Intelligent Robot Fighting and Design Competition” was successfully held, and three project teams organized by the Engineering Training Center of the NEFU School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering participated for the first time and won three national first prizes.

The competition was organized by the China Artificial Intelligence Society, co-organized by the Intelligent Products and Industry Working Committee of the China Artificial Intelligence Society, the Engineering Graphics Teaching Sub-Committee of the Ministry of Education and the Innovation Methods Teaching Sub-Committee of the Ministry of Education, and is the highest level of autonomous robot fighting competition in the world.

With the strong support from the Academic Affairs Office, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and other functional departments, the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering took science and technological innovation of college students as the traction, promoted interdisciplinary and professional integration, and explored the idea of construction of new engineering disciplines. The participating team members took five months of careful preparation, overcame the influence of the epidemic and actively participated in the competition, fully demonstrating the enterprising and tenacious spirit of NEFUers.

A total of 208 universities and 1035 teams, including Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Tongji University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Beijing University of Technology, Hunan University and other famous universities in China, registered for this event. After the preliminary round, NEFU advanced to the final round with 217 other teams, and won three national first prizes.
