Recently, the National Government Offices Administration organized the selection of 2021-2022 Demonstration Cases of Energy-Resource Saving in public institutions. The professional reviewers selected the top 10 demonstration cases, 183 excellent cases and 291 typical cases. “NEFU SPARKS, a sharing and donation platform provided for NEFU teachers and students”, was selected as the 2021-2022 national excellent demonstration case of energy-resource saving in public institutions.
NEFU SPARKS is a sharing and donation platform sponsored by NEFU’s Department of Logistics Support, operated by the NEFU Green Angel Volunteer Association, jointly built by NEFU alumni and supported by all parties. Firstly, it aims to provide a sharing and donation platform for teachers and students to implement recycling and improve their sense of fulfillment and happiness. Secondly, it aims to provide an innovative platform to improve NEFU’s logistics management, reduce the consumption of resource and energy, reduce the emission of carbon dioxide, helping to realize the “Double Carbon” goal. Thirdly, it aims to provide a practical platform to promote NEFU’s study of deep and efficient recycling sharing model, and provide an educational platform to study and explore “Three Complete Education” in Department of Logistics Support, guiding teachers and students to better build a beautiful NEFU and practice Xi’s thoughts on ecological civilization.
In recent years, under the concept of “Quality, Ecology, Innovation, Cooperation”, NEFU’s Department of Logistics Support actively practiced Xi’s thoughts on ecological civilization, studied the inherent laws of logistics, learned from the advanced technical experience, and promoted energy-saving management both in operation and practical works. DLS has also been striving to build a demonstration unit of conservation-oriented public institution with refined and scientific management, efficient resource utilization, diligence and thrift promotion and low carbon practice. Focusing on guidance of energy conservation, water conservation, resource recycling, green consumption, green production and lifestyle, and the logistical ecological education publicity work, DLS carried out a series of ecological education publicity activities with NEFU characteristics, such as the Green Travel Publicity Month with the theme of “Reduce Carbon Emission and Save Energy to Build a Green NEFU”, Energy Saving Publicity Week, Water Saving Publicity Week, National Low Carbon Day Activity, World Environment Day Activity, World Water Day Activity. Through carrying out green and low-carbon education, promoting virtue of diligence and thrift, and establishing ecological culture environment with NEFU spirit, DLS has played a positive role in raising the saving consciousness of teachers and students, cultivating students’ feeling of patriotism, sense of social responsibility, innovative spirit and enhance their practical ability. It also provides an example for guiding and driving the masses to practice new green production and lifestyle. And it also plays a key role in promoting the energy conservation work in provincial and regional public institutions and boost the revitalization of the Northeast.
