A few days ago, the National Intellectual Property Office issued the Notice on Determining the First Batch of National-level Patent Navigation Service Bases. Located in NEFU, the China Forestry Intellectual Property Information Center was officially approved as a national-level patent navigation service base, becoming one of the first three national patent navigation service bases in Heilongjiang province.
By undertaking tasks such as patent navigation demand matchmaking, organization, implementation and application, the national-level patent navigation base can play a key role in patent navigation work promotion and information exchange. The work done by the base can build an innovative industry working mechanism that realizes the matchmaking of service bases and industrial demand, the support of service organizations to service supply and the resource integration of service platforms. Meanwhile, it can promote the construction of a unified, high-standard and open patent navigation system, accelerate the comprehensive application of the patent system, fully support the decisions made by relevant competent authorities for the regional and industrial development, help the research and tackling on key problems, and ensure the stability and security of the industrial supply chain.
The China Forestry Intellectual Property Information Center was established in 2009, which was jointly built by the National Intellectual Property Administration, the Heilongjiang Provincial Government and NEFU, and is affiliated with the NEFU library. For many years, it has gained high attention and strong support from the school leaders, and has been operated by the school library together with other parties to provide intellectual property service for teachers, students and relevant members. Because of its approval as a national-level patent navigation base, the intellectual property work in NEFU will now be carried out in a much broader platform.
