Recently, with the approval of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, the 2022 National University Museum Display Explanation competition, sponsored by the Chinese Museum Association and Beijing Society of Museums, undertaken by the Professional Committee of College Museums and the Professional Committee of New Media and Communication in Beijing Society of Museums, and co-organized by the Media Museum of Communication University of China and People’s Cultural Museum, was successfully held. Zhao Yue, a lecturer at the China (Harbin) Forest Museum, won the second prize.

A total of 87 university museums from all over the country participated in the activity. Zhao Yue, a lecturer at NEFU, explained the theme of “Spreading Forest Culture and promoting Ecological Civilization”. Starting from the characteristic collections of our museum, she described the multi-function and multi-value of the forest around the “Four Reservoirs”, highlighting the educational function of the museum’s ecological civilization and guiding the public to establish the concept of life community of mountains, rivers, fields, lakes, grass and sand and to protect biodiversity.
