Recently, the 2022  Asia Young Rookie Awards (Autumn Competition), which was jointly hosted by the Youth Humanity Press, the Asia Youth Art Design Network and the Asia Young Rookie Awards Organizing Committee, announced the competition results. The work designed by Chen Zimo and his teammates, studying Industrial Design in the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, won the grand prize.

During the past winter vacation, teachers and students from the Industrial Design major in the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering actively participated in domestic and international competitions and made great breakthroughs. Students such as Chen Zimo, Fu Ruohang successively won multiple prizes such as the grand prize of Asia Young Rookie Awards, the bronze award of International Trend Cultural Design Competition, the silver award of Interactive Art Awards, the golden mountains award of Global Creative Design Award, the silver award of Hong Kong Contemporary Design Awards, the second prize of American New Concept Design Art Award and the silver award of London Chinese Art Exchange Exhibition, which strongly showed the education strength of NEFU, and earned the school a good reputation from the society.

The 2022 Asia Young Rookie Awards (Autumn Competition) aimed to pool the art design strength, tap the potential capacity of the youth, broadcast art design value, promote art design development, cultivate the love of the youth to the art design industry, and broaden the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese art design youth with international art design forces.
