On April 3, the 20th anniversary press conference of the China Association of Highway and Waterway Engineering Consultants was held in Beijing. Shan Wei, the former chairman and general manager of Northeast Forestry University Engineering Consulting Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., was invited to attend. Shan Wei was awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Contribution Individual” by the China Association of Highway and Waterway Engineering Consultants. Engineering Consulting Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. was awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Contribution Member Unit”.

The press conference reviewed the work of China Association of Highway and Waterway Engineering Consultants over the past twenty years, fully affirmed the irreplaceable role of transport engineering consulting and testing industry in the high-quality development of transportation construction, and commended the enterprises and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the high-quality development of China’s transportation construction over the past twenty years.

Over the past twenty years, Northeast Forestry University Engineering Consulting and Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. has been growing and maturing, finishing the construction supervision work of many landmark national key projects with high quality and high efficiency, such as Hangzhou Bay Railway Bridge Project, Fuzhou East Ring Expressway Project, Fujian Putian-Yanling Expressway Project, Harbin Songpu Bridge Project, Harbin Yang Ming Tan Bridge Project, Harbin Songhua River Bridge Expansion Project, Fujin-Suibin Songhua River Bridge Project, Harbin Airport Expansion Project, etc., and winning more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial commendation awards.
