The 16th National “Lanqiao Cup” Software and Information Technology Talent Competition recently concluded its finals with outstanding results from NEFU. Our students excelled in the competition, winning five first prizes and seven second prizes, setting a new record for NEFU in this prestigious event. This achievement highlights NEFU’s exceptional teaching capabilities in Computer Science and Technology, Electronics and Communication, and Electrical and Automation Engineering, as well as the professional competence of our students. Specifically, in the Single-Chip Microcontroller Design and Development (University Group) at NEFU, students demonstrated exceptional skills, securing three national first prizes and two national second prizes. The EDA Design and Development (University Group) also achieved outstanding performances, winning two national first prizes and two national second prizes. Additionally, our students obtained one national second prize in Python Programming (University Group A) and one national second prize in Embedded SystemDesign and Development (University Group).


Organized by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the “Lanqiao Cup” is one of China’s most influential IT competitions. It has been listed in the “National Higher Education Discipline Competition Ranking” by the China Association of Higher Education for six consecutive years. This year’s competition attracted participants from over 2,000 domestic universities and more than 10 leading institutions, covering key areas such as C/C++, Java, Python, Web Development, Single-Chip Microcontroller, Embedded Systems, EDA, and FPGA. Notably, the event achieved an 89% participation rate among Chinese undergraduate institutions, with all of China’s “Double First-Class” universities taking part.
