Recently, Northeast Forestry University (NEFU) received a letter of appreciation from the organizing committee for the Harbin sub-venue of the 2026 China Media Group (CMG) Spring Festival Gala. The letter commended NEFU’s international students for their cooperation during the program’s filming and praised their outstanding performance at the event.

During the preparation and filming of the Harbin sub-venue for the 2026 CMG Spring Festival Gala, 20 international students from eight countries, including Russia, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Morocco, participated in the performances. Despite Harbin's severe winter cold, the students devoted themselves fully to rehearsals and strictly followed the organizing committee's arrangements. They carefully executed every movement and formation with enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility, successfully fulfilling their performance tasks. Working in close coordination with performers and staff, they contributed to a visually impressive show for global audiences, bringing vibrant youthful energy and a distinctive international flair to the Harbin sub-venue and fully demonstrating the positive spirit of NEFU students.

Participation in filming at the Harbin sub-venue of the CMG Spring Festival Gala gave NEFU’s international students a valuable opportunity to experience traditional Chinese Spring Festival culture in an immersive way. It also served as a vivid example of NEFU’s efforts to promote cultural exchange between China and other countries. NEFU will continue to enrich practical education platforms for international students and to foster friendly exchanges and people-to-people connectivity among young people worldwide.
