About the Speaker

Jing Yidan, female, was born in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. She graduated from Beijing Broadcasting Institute (later renamed as Communication University of China) with a master's degree. In 1988, she joined CCTV, serving as the host for the TV programs likeFocus Interview, Touching the Heart of China, Talking Economy for Half an Hour, Yidan Topic, Oriental Time and Space, News Surveyetc. She won the Golden Microphone Award in the first, second and third National TV Show Host Competition. She also worked as the Vice President of Programs Research Association under the China Radio and Television Society, and Deputy Director of the Broadcasting and Hosting Committee under the China Radio and Television Broadcasting Association. She is also a part-time professor in Communication University of China and the Humanities and Art Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, a master supervisor in Meishi Film College of Chongqing University. At the end of April, 2015, Jing Yidan retired. In July 2015, she was elected as the Director of the Host Committee under the China Vision Association. Ms. Jing ,calm and elegant, will make a speech in the Donglin Culture Forum, sharing her philosophy of life and memories of youth.
