About the Reporter

Dr. Niu Ben received his Bachelor degree from the China Agricultural University (CAU), and directly pursued his doctoral degree under the co-supervision of CAU and Humboldt University of German. Since 2012, he has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Harvard Medical School. He has published articles in PNAS and other publications. His main research interests include symbiosis and interaction between microorganisms and plant roots.
