Title: Lignin Depolymerization and Product Utilization Technology
Reporter: Professor Wu Shubin
Time: 9:00 p.m., June 22, 2017
Venue: Room 604, Engineering Building
About the Report
Lignin is one of the most abundant natural polymers with the basic structural unit of phenyl propane in nature. The process of biomass refining and high utilization of lignin is also one of the key factors that affect the feasibility of technological economy. The report, based on the research achievements from one National Basic Research Program of China/ 973 Project and one National Natural Science Foundation project etc., mainly focus on lignin hydrothermal depolymerization, depolymerization under solvent system, hot-tearing liquefaction technology, depolymerization law of lignin, forming characteristics of products, and utilization methods of depolymerized products.
