About the speaker:

Professor Hansen has a Ph.D. in landscape design of University of Florida. Working eight years for a landscape design company, Professor Hansen is an experienced villa courtyard designer. In addition, he is an expert in the field of plant landscape design in Florida and currently works at the Department of Environmental Horticulture at the University of Florida. He teaches courses of residential landscapes. His main research areas include plant configuration in stormwater system, expanding strategy of environmental friendly landscape in Florida and landscape performance research.
