About the Speaker

Zhao Yuhong, Ph.D., associate professor, tutor of Master Degree Candidates, engaged in the research on the chemistry, new product development and functional food of natural products,  council member of the Society of Natural Products Engineering of Heilongjiang Province,  council member of the Society of Wild Vegetables of Heilongjiang Province, member of the panel of Heilongjiang Food Standard Commission, giving lectures on multiple courses ranging from Food Technology, Sensory Evaluation of Food and Processing Technology for Meat and Egg Products for undergraduates coupled with Food Protein and Proteomics and New Product Development and Process Management of Food for postgraduate students, presiding over 4 research programs at provincial, municipal and department levels, 3 horizontal programs, 2 teaching programs at university level, participating in more than 10 projects including Major Programs of the National Thirteenth Five-year Plan, Natural Science Foundation of China, Major Development Programs of Heilongjiang Province and Key Development Programs of Harbin, compiling and co-compiling 9 textbooks and books, publishing over 50 academic papers home and abroad, including 7 SCI and EI papers, 1 authorized patent, winning 3 Third Prizes of the Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement of Heilongjiang Province, 1 Second Prize of the Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement of Harbin, 1 Second Prize of the Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement of the Education Department of Heilongjiang, 3 Second Prizes of the Award for Outstanding Teaching Quality of NEFU, went to Purdue University as a visiting scholar from February 2011 to July 2012.

Title of Report 2: Molecular Mechanism of Stress-Resistance Lava Growth of  Pine Wood Nematode

About the Speaker

Wang Feng, Ph.D., associate professor, tutor of Master Degree candidates, secretary of the CPC Party Branch of the Forest Conservation Department, engaged in the research and teaching involving the genomics of pine wood nematode, the molecular mechanism of the interaction between plants and pathogens and medical fungi, presiding over 6 programs including the General Program of the Natural Science Foundation of China and the Program Sponsored by the Scientific Research Foundation for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, the Ministry of Education, participating in 12 programs such as the Program of Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Special Research Program of the Public Welfare Sector of Forestry, the Program “948” of the State Forestry Administration and National R&D Infrastructure and Facility Development Program of China, the Key Program of the Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province and the Major Research Development Program of Heilongjiang Province, winning 3 national patents, 1 pragmatic and innovative patent, publishing more than 40 academic papers, 8 of which have been included into SCI as first or corresponding author in the recent 5 years (the impact factor of 24.5), cited for 43 times in 2016, compiling 1 treatise, co-compiling 1 textbook of the National Thirteenth Five-year Plan, winning 1 Second Prize of the Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement of Heilongjiang Province, 1 Second Prize of the Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement of Harbin and 1 Third Prize of Liang Xi Award for Papers by Young Scholars, went to the Department of Phytopathology, Arizona State University as a visiting scholar, instructed by Prof. Michael A. McClure, chairman of the American Society for Nematology and editor-in-chief ofNematology.
