On May 18, the 2025 National Business Simulation Contest Finals concluded. This was hosted by the Decision Simulation Professional Committee of the Chinese Academy of Management and undertaken by Southwest University of Finance and Economics. A total of 349 teams from universities such as Peking University, Zhejiang University, Wuhan University, Nankai University, Jilin University, and Southwest University of Finance and Economics advanced to the finals and engaged in a strong competition. The student teams from the NEFU School of Economics and Management won the National First Prize in the “Supply Chain Decision Track” and “Enterprise Operation Track”, and the National Second Prize in the “Enterprise Decision Track,” achieving a historical breakthrough in competition results of this competition.

The National Business Simulation Contest is listed in the Analysis Report on College Students' Competitions in National Regular Higher Education Institutions released by the China Association of Higher Education. As an important business simulation competition for college students, the contest comprehensively examines participants’ market analysis, strategic planning, financial management, and team collaboration capabilities through simulating enterprise operation and decision-making. It covers four tracks, including enterprise decision-making, enterprise operation, supply chain decision-making, and digital intelligence sand table. Since the contest was launched in early March, nearly 50,000 teachers and students from 688 universities have registered for the national semi-finals.
The finals were conducted using an online enterprise competition simulation system. Through intense and orderly competitions, each participating team demonstrated a good professional foundation, superb competitive level, and high-spirited demeanor. The excellent results achieved by NEFU’s students in this contest reflect our high emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship education and practical education. NEFU will continue to adhere to the educational concept of “promoting learning through competitions and promoting teaching through competitions,” strengthen the cultivation of students’ innovative and practical abilities, and help students achieve all-around development.
