1. Student Exchange Program with the University of Eastern Finland
The University of Eastern Finland and Northeast Forestry University signed a cooperative agreement in 2014. According to the agreement, the University of Eastern Finland will accept 2 outstanding undergraduate orpostgraduate students majoring in forestry related programs each semester. Exchange students do not need to pay tuition, but boarding and living fees are self-funded.
2. Student Exchange Program with the University of Helsinki, Finland
The University of Helsink and Northeast Forestry University signed a cooperative agreement in 2000. According to the agreement, University of Helsink will accept 10 outstanding undergraduate orpostgraduate students each year. All courses taught in English are open to the exchange students. Tuition is free for exchange students, but students pay boarding and living fees.
3. Student Exchange Program with Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences, Finland
The cooperation between the Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences and Northeast Forestry University began in 1995. With the new cooperative agreement signed in 2005, the area of cooperation has expanded. According to the new agreement, Kymenlaakso University of Applied Sciences will enroll 3 outstanding undergraduate or postgraduate students each semester. Exchange programs include Economic Management, Industrial Management, Logistics Engineering, and other related programs. Exchange students do not need to pay tuition, but boarding and living fees are self-funded.
4. Student Exchange Program with North Karelia University of Applied Sciences, Finland
A cooperative agreement between North Karelia University of Applied Sciences and Northeast Forestry University was signed in 2014. According to the agreement, North Karelia University of Applied Sciences will enroll 2 outstanding undergraduate or postgraduate students each semester. Students studying Geographical Information Science and Tourism management can apply for the exchange. North Karelia University of Applied Sciences does not charge tuition, but exchange students need to pay boarding and living fees.
5. Student Exchange Program with Moscow State Forest University
Moscow State Forest University and Northeast Forestry University signed a cooperative agreement in January, 2012. According to the agreement, Moscow State Forest University will accept 5 outstanding undergraduate or postgraduate students each semester, but only students who study Russian can apply for this program.Exchange students do not need to pay tuition, but boarding and living fees are self-funded.
6. Student Exchange Program with Ural State Forest Engineering University, Moscow
Ural State Forest Engineering University and Northeast Forestry University established cooperation in 2003, but Student Exchange Program did not begin until 2009. According to the agreement, 5 outstanding undergraduate or postgraduate students who study Russian can study at Ural State Forest Engineering University each semester. Exchange students do not pay tuition, but boarding and living fees are self-funded.
7. Student Exchange Program with Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service, Moscow
Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service and Northeast Forestry University signed an Agreement for Student Exchange Program in 2002. According to the agreement, 4 outstanding undergraduate or postgraduate students who study Russian can study at Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service each semester. Exchange students do not pay tuition, but boarding and living fees are self-funded.
8. Student Exchange Program withKangwon National University, South Korea
Kangwon National University and Northeast Forestry Univerisity signed an academic cooperation agreement in 1992 and a student exchange agreement in 2010. According to the agreement, Kangwon National University will accept 7 outstanding undergraduate students each semester. Students can apply for any programs at Kangwon National University. Tuition is provided, but exchange students need to pay boarding and living fees.
9. Student Exchange Program with Kitami Institute of Technology, Japan
The Student Exchange Memo between Kitami Institute of Technology and Northeast Forestry Universitywas signed in March, 2000. According to the memo, 3 outstanding undergraduates can study at Kitami institute of Technology each term. Exchange programs include Mechanical Engineering, Social EnvironmentalEngineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Bio-engineering, and Material Chemistry. Tuition is free of charge, but exchange students need to pay boarding and living fees.
10. Student Exchange Program with the Shimane University, Japan
A Student exchange Agreement between Shimane University and Northeast Forestry University was signed in 2008. According to the agreement, 1 undergraduate student majoring in Japanese can study at the Shimane University for one year. The university does not charge tuition, but exchange students need to pay boarding and living fees. Students can also apply for scholarships provided by Wen Bu province, Japan.
11. Student Exchange Program with the Center for Japanese Language,Waseda University, Japan
The Center for Japanese Language, Waseda University and Northeast Forestry University signed a Short-term Japanese Study Program Agreement in 2015. According to the program, outstanding undergraduate students majoring in Japanese can study in the Center for Japanese Language for one semester or term. Students need to pay tuition, boarding and living fees.
12. Student Exchange Program with Tunghai University, Taiwan
Tunghai University and Northeast Forestry University signed anAcademic Cooperation and anAgreement on Student exchange in July, 2011. According to the agreement, Tunghai University will accept 8 outstanding third-year undergraduates orpostgraduates each semester, including 5 exchange students and 3 research students. All majors at Tunghai Univeristy are open to this exchange program. Tuition is provided for exchange students, but they must pay boarding and living fees. Research students cover all fees by themselves.
13. Student Exchange Program with Donghua University, Taiwan
Donghua University and Northeast Forestry University signed anAcademic Cooperation and anAgreement on Student Exchange in December, 2008. According to the agreement, Tunghai University can accept 10 outstanding third-year undergraduates or postgraduates, including 5 exchange students and 5 research students each term. All majors at Donghua University are open to this exchange program. Tuition is provided for exchange students, but they must pay boarding and living fees. Research students cover all fees by themselves.
14. Student Exchange Program with MingDao University, Taiwan
Northeast Forestry University and MingDao University signed anAgreement on Academic Cooperation and Exchange and anAgreement on Student Exchange in November, 2012. According to the agreement, 3 third-year outstanding undergraduates or postgraduates are able to study at MingDao University each semester. All majors at MingDao Univeristy are open to this exchange program. Tuition is free of charge, but exchange students need to pay boarding and living fees.
15. Student Exchange Program with National Pingtung University, Taiwan
Northeast Forestry University and National Pingtung University signedAgreement on Academic Cooperation in April, 2013. According to the agreement, National Pingtung University can accept 9 outstanding third-year undergraduates or postgraduates, including 4 exchange students and 5 research students each term. All programs at National Pingtung University are open to application. Tuition is provided for exchange students, but they must pay boarding and living fees. Research students must, cover all fees by themselves.
16. Student Exchange Program with National Taipei University, Taiwan
Northeast Forestry University and National Taipei University signed anAgreement of Intent on Academic Cooperationand anAgreement on Student Exchange in April, 2009. According to the agreement, 2 third-year outstanding undergraduates or postgraduates are able to study at National Taipei University each semester. Students can apply to study any of the programs at National Taipei University. Tuition and boarding are free of charge, exchange students only need to pay living fee.
17. Student Exchange Program with I-Shou University, Taiwan
I-Shou University and Northeast Forestry University signed aStudent Exchange Memo and anAgreement on Undergraduates from Northeast Forestry University Studying in I-Shou Universityin March, 2011. According to the agreement, I-Shou University will accept 13 outstanding third-year undergraduates or postgraduates each term, including 3 exchange students and 10 research students. Students can apply any of the programs at I-Shou University. Tuition is provided for exchange students, but they must pay boarding and living fees. Research students cover all fees by themselves.
18. Student Exchange Program with the Chinese Culture University, Taiwan
Northeast Forestry University and the Chinese Culture University signed anAgreement on Cooperation and Exchange and anAgreement on Student exchange in March, 2012. According to the agreement, the Chinese Culture University can accept 12 outstanding third-year undergraduates or postgraduates each semester, including 2 exchange students and 10 research students. All the programs in the Chinese Culture University are open. Tuition is provided for exchange students, but they must pay boarding and living fees. Research students cover all fees by themselves.
19. Student Exchange Program with National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan
Northeast Forestry University and National Chung Hsing University signed anAgreement of Intent on Academic Cooperationand anAgreement on Student Exchange in November, 2009. According to the agreement, National Chung Hsing University accept 11 outstanding third-year undergraduates or postgraduates each semester, including 5 exchange students and 6 research students. All the programs in National Chung Hsing University are open. Tuition fees are covered for exchange students, but they must pay boarding and living fees themselves. Research students cover all fees by themselves.
20. Student Exchange Program with National Taichung University of Education, Taiwan
Northeast Forestry University and National Taichung University of Education signed anAgreement on Student Exchange and anAgreement on Academic Cooperation in November, 2014. According to the agreement, 2 third-year outstanding undergraduates or postgraduates are able to study at National Taichung University of Education each semester. All the programs in National Taichung University of Education are open. Tuition is free of charge, but exchange students need to pay boarding and living fees.
21. Student Exchange Program with Chaoyang University of Technology, Taiwan
Northeast Forestry University and Chaoyang University signed anAgreement on Establishment of Long-term Academic Cooperation in March, 2015. According to the agreement, Chaoyang University will accept 10 outstanding third-year undergraduates or postgraduates each semester, including 5 exchange students and 5 research students. Tuition is provided for exchange students, but they have to pay boarding and living fees. Research students cover all fees by themselves.
22. Student Exchange Program with Kainan University, Taiwan
Northeast Forestry University and Kainan University signed anAgreement on Academic Cooperation and Exchange and anAgreement on Student Exchange in December, 2015. According to the agreement, 4 third-year outstanding undergraduates or postgraduates are able to study at Kainan Univeristy each semester, including 2 exchange students and 2 research students. Tuition is provided for exchange students, but they need to pay boarding and living fees. Research students cover all fees by themselves.
