Northeast Forestry University attaches great importance to international cooperation and exchange. From Canada to the USA, France to Russia, Finland to Australia, South Korea to Japan, the university has formed international cooperation and exchange programs with more than 100 universities and research institutions in over 30 countries and regions. Currently, NEFU has implemented over 30 programs, including joint education of undergraduate students, andshort-term and long-term exchange students with universities in the USA, France, Finland, Russia, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and other countries or regions. A total of more than 200 short-term or long-term students are exchanged with these universities each year. Over 100 teachers visit, undertake academic research, and cooperate in scientific studies in foreign countries, and more than 100 experts, and scholars from different countries visit NEFU for academic purposes each year. As a university that receives Chinese government scholarship for overseas students, NEFU has cultivated large numbers of excellent international students.
